How to wash your Snoozella duvet
A Snoozella duvet has an attached cover. So freshening it up means putting the whole duvet in the washing machine. With these tips it stays fresh, soft and beautiful.
- ✓ Washable up to 60 °C
- ✓ Tumble dryer safe
- ✓ Non-iron
From bed to washing machine and back again
Allow for a regular wash and a drying programme. After that, your bed is freshly made again.
- 1
Washing
Wash the duvet at max. 60 °C with a spin speed of around 1000 rpm. Preferably wash it on its own, so it has enough room.
- 2
Drying
The duvet can go in the tumble dryer on a normal programme. Prefer the washing line? Then hang it over two lines so the air can reach both sides.
- 3
Shaking out
Give the duvet a good shake after drying. That way the filling spreads evenly across all the compartments again.
- 4
Back on the bed
No cover to put back on. Lay the duvet on the bed and you're done. No ironing needed.
Will your duvet fit in your washing machine?
The bigger the duvet, the more room it needs to get properly clean. This is the minimum drum capacity per size.

Keep your duvet looking great for longer
Do
- Wash at max. 60 °C
- Spin at around 1000 rpm
- Tumble dry on a normal programme, or dry over two lines
- Shake it out well after drying
- Air your bedroom briefly every morning
Better not
- Wash at a temperature higher than 60 °C
- Use a drum that is too small for your size
- Put the duvet back or store it while it's still damp
- Iron it, that's not necessary
Just as often as a regular duvet cover
Every 1 to 2 weeks
Because the cover is attached, you wash a Snoozella duvet just as often as a regular duvet cover. For bedding, the usual advice is once a week, and at least once every two weeks.
Tip: alternate with a second duvet
With a second duvet, you always have a clean one on the bed while the other is in the wash or dryer. Handy with a ComfyBed Duo: you switch colours at the same time.
