A light summer duvet without a cover
The Snoozella summer duvet without a cover is thinner and lighter than our ComfyBed. Like all our duvets, it has an attached cover: no separate cover, and the whole duvet goes in the washing machine.
When should you choose a summer duvet?
A summer duvet is great when your bedroom is warm, for example in summer or in an attic room. It's also a good choice if you tend to get too warm at night, or if you're looking for a light duvet for the guest room.
Summer duvet or all-season duvet?
Want one duvet for the whole year? Then choose the ComfyBed with warmth rating 2. Often feel warm, or want to switch in summer? Then the summer duvet is the lighter choice.
Washing and drying
You wash the whole duvet at up to 60 °C in the washing machine and it can go in the tumble dryer on a normal programme. That keeps your bed fresh all summer long. Also check out our washing instructions.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the summer duvet and the ComfyBed?
The summer duvet is thinner and lighter than the ComfyBed, and therefore cooler. The ComfyBed is warmer and suitable for most of the year. Both have an attached cover and are washable up to 60 °C.
Will a washable duvet fit in my washing machine?
For 140x200 and 160x200 cm a 5 kg drum is enough, for 200x200 cm you need 7 kg and for 240x200 cm 10 kg. Is your machine smaller? Then you can wash the duvet at a launderette with a large machine.
How do I dry the duvet?
The duvet can go in the tumble dryer on a normal programme. Take it out halfway through and give it a shake so the filling dries evenly. Drying it on the line? Then let the duvet dry completely before using it again. You'll find more tips in our washing instructions.
Which duvet size should I choose?
Choose a duvet that is at least 40 cm wider than your mattress, so it hangs over nicely on both sides. For a 90 cm mattress, 140x200 cm fits; for 120 cm, 160x200 cm; for 160 cm, 200x200 cm; and for 180 or 200 cm, 240x200 cm. Not sure? Check the size guide.
